trying to finish setup on my printer (Envy 6000) and getting Error Code: EBS00P0004

Error Code EBS00P0004 on your HP Envy 6000 printer indicates a problem with the printer's network connection. To resolve this issue, try the following steps.

 

  • Check the printer's network connection: Make sure that the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the computer or mobile device you are trying to print from.
  • Restart the printer: Turn off the printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
  • Restart the Wi-Fi router: Turn off the Wi-Fi router, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on.
  • Check the Wi-Fi signal strength: Ensure that the Wi-Fi signal strength is strong enough to establish a stable connection with the printer.
  • Reinstall the printer software: Uninstall the printer software from your computer or mobile device and then reinstall it.
  • Reset the printer's network settings: Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer for 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi light starts flashing. This will reset the printer's network settings to their default values.
