HP OfficeJet 8015e All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Any idea what this error code indicates? The message was flashing on and off on the indicator screen. The printer would not turn off using the on/off button. I had to turn the power off at the socket. After turning the power back on the printer started normally without any error message and is working ok.

Hi @AFC3,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The error code 0xB847BBF0 on an HP OfficeJet 8015e All-in-One Printer is generally associated with a hardware or firmware issue. It can indicate problems such as.

  1. Firmware Corruption: The printer's firmware may have encountered a temporary glitch or corruption.
  2. Hardware Fault: There could be a minor hardware issue or loose connection inside the printer.
  3. Power Supply Issues: Interruption in power or fluctuations could cause such errors.

Since the printer is now functioning normally, it might have been a transient issue. If the problem recurs, consider the following steps.

  1. Check for Firmware Updates: Ensure your printer's firmware is up to date. Visit the HP Support website to download and install any available updates.
  2. Inspect the Power Supply: Make sure the power cord is securely connected and that there's no power fluctuation.
  3. Perform a Hard Reset: If you encounter the issue again, try unplugging the printer, waiting for a minute, and then plugging it back in.
  4. Check for Hardware Issues: If the problem persists, inspect the printer for any obvious hardware issues or loose connections.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
