Need help to determine the default username and password for my hp7525 printer.

Thanks for posting at HP Support Forums, I'm here to help. 🙂

I got to know from your post that the embedded web server (EWS) for your Photosmart 7525 is prompting you for a username and password. Normally HP doesn't set a username and password for printer EWS, the only way to clear the username and password is by performing a network defaults through the printer control panel. Let's try these steps:

1.) From the Home screen, touch the Wireless icon.

2.) Touch Settings.

3.) Scroll to the bottom and select restore network defaults.

4.) Select ok.

If you are looking for the wireless direct username and password, you can locate them here:

1.) From the Home screen, touch the Wireless icon.

2.) Touch Settings.

3.) Touch Wireless Direct

4.) Touch Display Name, to view the wireless direct username and password.

I did a restore network defaults as you've outlined above. It solves my issue. Thanks!

I've found the user name and password but, after entering them, it comes right back to asking me for the username and password again. The other thing it has done is tell me that there is a network error connection? Although when I first log in, I'm able to see my ink settings and everything else.  Username and password fails to allow me to update my password, name of my printer, username unless I'm able to login. Are there any other options?
