I have been getting white horizontal lines across my pages when printing. Cleaned printheads several times. Papers come out great during this printout, then when i go to print again the same thing happens over and over again. Replaced cartidges. This is my second printer, same problems. Warranty expired in July.

It looks like you were interacting with @sandytechy20, but he is out for the day & I'll be glad to help you out.
Power resetting the printer, cleaning the ink cartridges, paper feed rollers and updating the printer firmware may resolve the issue. Let's try these steps:
1) Make sure this printer is plugged into a direct wall, not a surge protector
2) Remove all of your ink cartridges from the printer and close the door
3) Remove the power cord from the back of the printer (Do no press the power button)
4) Clean the electrical contacts, refer to step 3 from this document.
5) Clean the paper feed rollers, refer to step 3 from this document.
6) Plug the power cord back into the printer
7) Wait for the printer to turn on completely, then install the ink cartridges.
😎 Download and update the printer firmware from here.
9) From the printer control panel, open the Setup menu.
10) Open the Printer Maintenance or Tools menu.
11) Touch Clean Page Smears or Clean Smear.
12) From the printer control panel, open the Setup menu.
13) Open the Printer Maintenance menu or Tools menu.
14) Touch Clean Printhead.
Let me know how it goes!

Welcome to HP forums, I see that you are getting vertical lines while printing.
- Which application are you trying to print from?
- Did you try to print from a different application and check?
- Which operating system is installed on the computer to which this printer is connected?
- Try to make a copy and check if the issue persists.
Reply with the result of the above-mentioned steps, for further assistance.
Cheers.
