Operating System not provided.
Specifications > Paper Handling
Section: Supported Paper Sizes (plain paper)
Section: Supported Photo Paper
Neither of these sizes ( 5.5x4 or 6x6) are supported as a "standard" size.
The following is relevant to both Windows and Mac OS:
An expected print size might be the result of the photo / image shape not fitting on the selected paper size and shape.
This is the Aspect Ratio.
Generally, if the shape of the image does not match the shape of the paper, there is no "automatic" fix other than either fitting the image to the paper as it can be done.
"Fit" image onto paper: Results include a white border around the sections that are not "shaped" correctly. If a border around "mis-shaped" edges is satisfactory, use horizontal and vertical centering to "fit" the image into the paper with (relatively) even borders around the edges.
OR
Edit the photo / image shape to match the shape of the paper on which the image will be printed.
Relevant to Windows:
Edit the image; use "Crop" to cut out the correct shape of the paper on which you will print your image.
If the original image is a "rectangle", edit the shape into a square to print that image onto square paper.

Windows > Example
- The example shows the "how to" for a 4x6 inch photo.
- With the exception of the need to change the print / paper size, the steps are the same for the 5x7 inch photo.
- If your printer does not support Borderless (or if Borderless is not supported for your paper size), ignore that part of the example / setup.
