Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The HP Photosmart C8180 All-in-One is in good working condition but I would like to use it for black & white documents printing only !! Can I remove the color cartridges and use the black cartridge only? Thanks

@josef28, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

HP Photosmart C8180 All-in-One Printer uses one black and multiple color ink cartridges. You will not be able to print if any one of the ink cartridges is empty or not installed in the printer.

 

You may change the print settings on the PC to print only in Black/Greyscale

Refer to this document for more info on print settings. Check Color and black & white settings.
