I have a yellow triangle that shows up in the bottom right corner of my screen--in the system tray--on top of the blue HP question mark. I can't get rid of it. It's the same thing every time--there are two errors (Windows and iOS) telling me that my printer isn't on the network.
My printer works fine. It will scan, copy, print and send emails. There isn't a problem. It's true that I turn it off for several days at a time, but I hate to waste the energy.
I have followed the instructions in the Windows message three times. The triangle returns in an hour or a day. I dislike receiving the messages on iOS, since I don't use that system on a Windows computer.
This triangle has been present--continuously--for the last six weeks, as I've just tried to ignore it, since there seems to be nothing wrong with the computer and a diagnostic printout tells me the computers email address and says that things are fine. The way I use my printer, it works great!
Just want to lose the triangle!
