I cannot connect my Samsung S24 mobile device to my HP Officejet Pro 9015e.   I use to be able to print through the HP Smart app, but it is no longer printing.  I can print from.my desktop and laptop top computers, but not my cell phone.  I'm very frustrated.

@ElizabethK1, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

If you're having trouble printing from your Samsung S24 mobile device to your HP Officejet Pro 9015e, despite being able to print from your desktop and laptop, here are some steps to troubleshoot the issue:

Check Network Connection:

  • Ensure your Samsung S24 and HP Officejet Pro 9015e are connected to the same wireless network.
  • Confirm that your mobile device's Wi-Fi is turned on and connected to the correct network.

Update HP Smart App:

  • Ensure that you have the latest version of the HP Smart app installed on your mobile device. Sometimes issues arise due to outdated app versions.
  • Visit the Google Play Store to update the HP Smart app, if necessary.

Check Printer Compatibility:

  • Verify that your HP Officejet Pro 9015e is recognized by the app.
  • Open the HP Smart app, and check if the printer appears in the list of available printers.

Re-add Printer in HP Smart App:

  • On your mobile device, open the HP Smart app.
  • Try removing the printer from HP Smart app and then re-add it by tapping on "Add Printer" and following the on-screen instructions.

Reset Network Settings:

  • Consider resetting the network settings on your mobile device and setting it up again.
  • For Android devices, go to Settings > System > Reset options > Reset Wi-Fi, mobile, & Bluetooth.

Clear App Cache:

  • Clear the cache of the HP Smart app as this might resolve any software glitches.
  • Go to Settings > Apps > HP Smart > Storage, and tap "Clear Cache."

Uninstall and Reinstall HP Smart App:

  • Uninstall the HP Smart app, restart your device, and then reinstall the app from the Google Play Store.

Check for Firmware Updates:

  • Ensure your printer's firmware is up to date. You may need to check this via the printer's control panel or HP's support website.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
