Hello everybody,
I have 2 printers Ssmsung CLX-6260FW here. I have been getting the same error message for a long time with both printers: C5-1710. No matter what I try to fix the error, the error remains.
I have already made the following attempts
a) I already have 4 of the ITBs ... All attempts to exchange were in vain
b) The cross-swap from one device to another was also unsuccessful.
c) I also performed the memory reset + restart of the printer in maintenance mode.
I am at a loss and suspect the error in the technical area ...
I don't want to buy another ITB again only to find out that the error persists despite the new ITB ....
Does anyone have any further ideas or tips, advice on how to get the error fixed ...?
Many thx´s for for help and any posting...
Marcus

That error is a home position error. Only noted troubleshooting in the service manual is to change the ITB. As you have already tried another belt then problem is most likely in the printer itself. If you can obtain a service manual there are test routines that can be run to confirm if home sensor is working.
