Product: Samsung Xpress SL-C430 Color Laser Printer

I have replaced the transfer belt unit with an official Samsung replacement unit but it is still reporting that the belt needs replacing. How can I reset the counter so the error is cleared?

 

I have read that i would need the EDC Software, wich is not available for end users. The prnter is out of support,so there is no way to contact HP, but they sell the transfer belt, so it is my right as a customer to use it! There is no reason to withold this software for older printers. If HP does not want to publish it, they should stop selling these parts. This is a clear breach of consumer rights, at least in europe.

 

Any ides, where to get the EDC Software?
