Samsung Xpress C480FW.

Hi there,

I have a Samsung Xpress C480 FW Lazer Printer, which is out of Warranty.

When making Copies, only approx 35/40% of the images is printed and the balance of the Paper is blank. Also it seems to reduce the image as well. This started approx 3/4 weeks back. I have tried to reset the Printer on the Printer Setup, without any success.

I need help in solving this issue. Please advice.

I hope you're doing well, please make sure the ECO button on the printer is off. If the issue still persist and if only happens with copies, the best recommendation will be to reset the printer to the factory settings doing a clear all memory. 

 

To do the clear all memory you will need to follow the following steps (under your responsibility)

 

-Entering Tech mode •

Press “Menu > # > 1 > 9 > 3 > 4” on the control panel continuously then Press Menu.

Select “Tech Mode” - (OK)

Inside tech mode go to Data setup - Clear all mem then OK and select the correct country. 

 

This will reset the printer, if the issue persisted, you will need to take the printer to a local repair shop.
