I have a wifi printer, a Samsung 2875DW. I updated my wifi configuration and can't get the setup to access the wifi. HP doesn't recognize my serial# which I have entered at least 10 times, so I can't add the device to my account or get a support phone# for it.
When I run the setup utility, it installs OK via USB connection. When I try to install it with WiFi, it hangs on "detecting device settings" or some such, then it tells me I need to connect temporarily with a USB to set up the WiFi. Ok, Fine, I plug in the USB, but it says it cant' find the printer with the USB. So I go back and select "USB installation" and it connects, but won't let me set up the WiFi that way. The virtual assistant is no help, because it won't accept my serial#. I have the serial# from the print-out page from the printer, so I know it's correct. I think it's more digits than a typical HP serial because this is a Samsung.
HP smart does not detect the printer.
How do I get valid contact info since HP doesn't know the product they sold me exists?

Hello,
Is it on Windows that you try to install Printer on?
Edit: Right so windows 10. Is the unit connected to the WiFi network? Is WiFi Led steady or is it blinking?
I would first try with Samsung Easy Wireless Setup.
Click on Software then choose Samsung Easy Wireless Setup. // It's for c480 but should work with all samsungs A4.
So then Download it, install it on PC. Then search for Samsung Wireless Setup Wizard on PC, then choose WiFi and there try to reconnect unit to the WiFi network again.
Then, you have drivers and software below:
Or did I missunderstand you about this?
