2) HP Smart App>Scan>Source>Scanner Glass

How to change the Source from Scanner Glass (it's dimmed, it doesn't give me a choice), so I can scan via the Document Feeder?

Welcome to the HP Community --

Restart both computer and printer.

Assuming all else is "OK", that should clear any residual "scanner problem" errors.

Next -- EWS Webscan / Web Scan can be enabled and then used.

By some miracle, the "Document Feeder" option started showing/working. However, it now shows a "Scanner Problem". Please see image below:

Somehow, between my post and your reply, it magically started working. I appreciate your info, though, and am keeping it for any further problems. Thank you!

You are welcome.

Love magic -- it works when all else remains a muddled mess.
