Hi @timg622,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

1. Verify Network Connection

  • Ensure that the printer is connected to your wireless network and has Internet access.
  • From the printer's control panel, touch the Wireless icon and check the connection status.

2. Update Printer Firmware

  • Make sure the printer's firmware is up to date. Firmware updates can provide new features and fixes to known issues.
  • Access the HP website to download the latest firmware updates.

3. Enable Web Services

  • Confirm that Web Services is enabled on your printer.
  • On the printer’s control panel, press the ePrint button, accept the Terms of Use, and follow the onscreen instructions to enable Web Services.

4. Verify SMTP Settings

  • Check the outgoing SMTP server settings are correctly configured in the HP software for sending emails.
  • Clear and re-enter the SMTP settings to ensure accuracy.

5. Check Proxy Settings

  • If your network uses proxy settings, make sure they are correctly entered in the printer's control panel.
  • Check settings being used by your web browser or consult with your IT administrator.

6. Restart and Reconnect

  • Turn off the printer, restart your router, and reconnect the printer to the wireless network.
  • Restart your computer to ensure all settings are refreshed.

I hope this helps.
