Hi @Wonderly1977,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding ADF error on your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try the following steps:

Bypass the ADF in HP Smart App

  1. Open HP Smart App on your computer or phone.
  2. Go to Scan → Select Flatbed Scanner instead of ADF.
  3. Try scanning a document.

Disable ADF in Printer Settings

  1. On the printer control panel, go to Settings.
  2. Look for Scanner Preferences or ADF Settings.
  3. If available, select Flatbed Only mode.

Let me know how it goes.

I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?"—your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍
