Hi everybody!
I have a HP Officejet Pro 6830 e-All-in-One series printer with Win 10 pc and encountered the following issue:
While trying to scan a few documents from the ADF it seems it always gets stuck in the middle of the 3rd page. The first 2 pages go trough without a problem.
I've already tried to reinstall the driver on the pc, to reset the printer, to update everything, to unpluggit it for a few minutes and to clean the printer out properly. Sadly it seems so far, that nothing works.
Other than the ADF problem everything functions properly, even scanning from the scanningglass.
It would be awesome, if somebody could offer a solution.

Thank you for joining HP Forums.
It's a pleasure assisting you in finding answers to your technical queries.
To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:
Clean the rollers in the ADF to remove dust, paper fiber, and other debris that might accumulate on the rollers and cause paper jams and paper feed issues.
-
Lift the top cover of the ADF. This provides easy access to the rollers and separator pad.
-

-
-
Lightly dampen a clean, lint-free cloth with bottled or distilled water, and then squeeze any excess liquid from the cloth.
-
Press the cloth against the rollers, and then rotate them upward with your fingers. Apply a moderate amount of pressure to remove any dust or dirt buildup.
-

-
Separator pad
-
-
Allow the rollers to dry completely (approximately 10 minutes).
-
Close the ADF cover tightly at both ends.

-
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer, and then reconnect the USB or Ethernet cable if you had either connected.
-
Press the Power button to turn on the printer.
-
Touch OK to clear any messages on the printer control panel.
Update the firmware for the printer using this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-officejet-pro-6830-e-all-in-one-printer-series/5390307/docum...
Restart the printer.
Try to scan.
Keep me posted, how it goes!

Thank you for your suggestions!
I've tried following what you said, but sadly the error still persits.
It seems everytime when I try scanning through the ADF, the first 2 pages go trogh without a problem. Could it be a mechanical error or a software one?
