Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I've been having a persistent problem when I want to scan using the automatic document feeder (ADF).

Instead of recognizing the documents in the ADF the printer scans the flat bed.

I pull papers in and out and the printer display shows document loaded.

I literally have to try like 10 times to get it to work.

Then it grabs sideways or takes 2 oages at a time.

Is there a roller rhT needs cleaned periodically or some thing I can do?

Please help!
