After scanning and saving document, cannot share

After scanning and saving document, I click share, mail recipient, then outlook opens without the document.

True - At this writing, HP Smart > Share with new Outlook app does not yet work.

What happened?

Microsoft is getting ready to discontinue Windows Mail --  ☠️

Windows Mail, when the sending account has been added to the app, works with HP Smart > Share.

"New" Outlook app -- if you have moved to it from Windows Mail -- does not work.

Rats - What to do?

Go back to Windows Mail (not "new" Outlook app) --

What?  The "official" death of Windows Mail is not yet a "done deal".

HP will likely fix the HP Smart > Share app to work with the Outlook app by the time it's really needed.

Maybe HP will fix the app before Windows Mails disappears for good.  Keep checking, I guess.

OR

If you are willing to do the work, create a HP Smart > Shortcut > Email setup for one or more recipients.

After the content is scanned, click to run the Shortcut you created for the purpose.

Yeah, but - Using a shortcut is ugly and we don't like it --

True - The shortcut method a bit less "all inclusive" of the nicer options -- you can't just edit the email content, subject, or add a unique message.

Yes, you need a separate shortcut for each recipient.
