I do not know the answer -- I am not running a Windows 7 system at the moment; if it is Windows 7 centric and not part of a general File System issue, there is likely something I am missing.
Perhaps another Expert can chime in.

HI @steve47co1
Are you able to set the WIA to Automatic instead of Delayed Start?
Try that and let us know how it goes.
Thanks.

Hi @steve47co1
Does that meant that the issue is resolved?
Thanks.

This is an interesting problem to which I have found no solution even though many other have had the same issue. My new 8610 prints (from originals, scans, and copies) everything at an angle. I have run all diagnostices, all updates applied, run HP Scan and Print Doctor and still all printing is at an acute angle. Changed paper settings multiple times, too.
Anything new in re: solutions?

Hi @steve47co1
Can you check if there are any bits of paper in the printer?
Remove the Duplexor from the rear and see if there are any pieces of paper there that might cause the "skew printing".
Thanks.

For me, I solved this issue by changing the hp scan extended executable compatiability property to "Run this program in compatability mode for " and pick Windows XP (Service Pack 3). Suspect this will be necessary for newer Window Operation systems. Like Worked for me on my Win 7 desktop. suspect because the scan app was developed on an older windows platform.
So find app, and choose properties on this to change the compatability and see if that works.
