Product: Office jet 6600
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

When I insert my page I hear the chime and see “Original Loaded” on the screen. But when I press scan on my computer, it only scanned on the glass… Does not load the document. 

 I have followed the instructions on a previous troubleshooting thread, to no avail   

I do not understand about a firmware upload… My Internet is not working right now… A little lost.

I discovered the problem…maybe it will help someone else, also!!

I had scanned a photo earlier today and the scanner program was still set on photo/graphics…so the ADF will not work!!  I changed it to "general" and, voila…it works!!

Thanks for any who have worked  on a solution for me!!
