For scanning documents using the automatic document feeder (ADF) on your HP Smart Tank 7602 printer, you can utilize the HP Smart app to facilitate the process. Here’s how to do it:

Using HP Smart App:

Open HP Smart App: Launch the HP Smart app on your device.

Select Scan Tile: From the app's home screen, click the scan tile.

Prepare Document: Place your original document into the automatic document feeder (ADF). Ensure the document is correctly placed, aligned, and the feeder is not overstuffed.

Select Scan Option: Choose the scan option such as "Batch" for multiple pages, "Document", or "Photo".

Adjust Settings: Use the settings menu to change options such as paper size, input source (to ADF), resolution (300 dpi for normal quality or 1200 dpi for high quality), and set the scan output to Greyscale or Color.

Initiate Scan: Click on the Scan button or the circle button at the bottom of the screen to start scanning.

Post-Scan Adjustments: Adjust scan boundaries if necessary using options like Auto, Full, or manual boundary adjustments.

Preview and Edit: Use the Preview screen to add more pages, rotate, edit, or delete scanned documents.

Save or Share: After editing and reviewing scanned documents, click save or choose to share or fax them. Choose file type and compression settings as desired.
