OfficeJet Pro 8620

I'm helping my wife set up a volunteer health clinic at a local women's shelter, and our ability to utilize phone lines is limited.  We do, however, have access to a secured wifi network.  It would be helpful to be able to fax prescriptions to a couple local pharmacies that have a delivery service.  Is there a way to set up our OfficeJet Pro 8620 so that we can fax a scrip through the wifi connection and have it received by the pharmacies' standard phone-line-connected fax machines?  The machine will not be receiving faxes;  only sending them.  The other two ARNPs who will be volunteering at the clinic are not tech-savvy, so having them use the attached PC in order to scan and send a fax is not really feasible.  Any help is appreciated!

Hello, @javelin98 – Hope you are well 🙂

Welcome to the HP Forum! This is a wonderful location to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips.

Going through your post, I understand that you are trying to send a fax using the internet instead of your telephone line. There are certain HP printer model supports this feature but I am afraid your printer is not one among them.

But personally, I would suggest using some 3rd party internet fax services to do this task. On top of my head, I can think of eFax, Myfax etc. Search for "Internet fax services" in google to get more details.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance.

Have a great day 🙂
