We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about HP Solution Center not working : Adobe Flash Player Error and Unable to Scan.

I can't seem to be able to scan with HP Laserjet M1132 MFP over the network (printing works fine). Is it possible and I just don't know / fail to connect or does it not have this functionality?

 

*Everything works well on computer that is connected to the MFP over USB cable*

I hate to hear you are having issues.  For the LJ 1130 base series networking is not supported, however for some 1132 models Ethernet networking is supported.  It will depend on the exact model/product number for this unit.  Click Here for how to setup a wired network connection for the selected 1132 models that support this option.

 

 

1. Was a peer to peer sharing network setup from the computer that is connected with USB?

 

2. What is the product number on the back of the unit, should start with J?

 

3. How are you scanning (front panel, scan software, etc.)?

Thanks for your help. The problem is that we cannot create a peer-to-peer network in the office as we cannot connect the printer to the modem (the modem is in a different room). Therefore, there's no way to fix my problem until we can do that.

 

Once again, thanks for the help. I will reopen this post if we are ever able to create a peer-to-peer network and then I will provide the rest of the details.
