To send a fax using your HP Smart Tank 6001, you can follow these steps:

1. Load the Document:
2. Place your original document print-side down on the scanner glass. If you have a document feeder, place the document print-side up in the feeder.
3. For more detailed instructions, consult the printer's manual to understand exactly how to properly load documents on the scanner glass or in the document feeder.
4. Access the Fax Function:
5. On the printer control panel, touch the Fax icon to enter the fax settings screen.
6. Sending the Fax:
7. You have two options:
   • Send Now: If you want to send the fax immediately, select this option and follow the onscreen instructions.
   • Send Later: If you prefer to send the fax at a later time, select this option, follow the instructions on the screen, and set the desired fax time.
8. Enter the Fax Number:
9. Use the keypad on the control panel to enter the recipient's fax number.
10. Choose the Fax Color Settings:
11. If you want to send the fax in color, select Settings, choose Color/Black, and then Send Fax as Color.
12. Finalize and Send:
13. Touch Send to transmit your fax.

Additional Tips

• Verify that your printer is connected to a phone line before starting the process. If necessary, make sure that all connections are secure.
• If there are multiple pages, ensure all pages are correctly loaded into the feeder or scanned individually on the glass.
