Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I could only download one of the links on the this site. But it did nothing. I still can't scan!!!! I just got this printer about an year and half ago. This is ridiculous!!!! How do I fix this WIA driver issue??? I searched online I couldn't find a solution!!!! I need to scan an important document to my job ASAP and I can't do it!!!!!

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

 

Can you try this standalone software:

 

HP Scan Extended

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"

 

For scanning tips, click here.

That worked... It goes about scanning a new way but it scans... Took me a second to figure out where to send the scan. Thank you!!!!

The computer took it on its own... It asked to restart and once it came back on everything was good 🙂
