Can't get my G4010 scanner to scan negatives

Loaded negative without problems, hit the scan film button, same dialog box opens as for prints, no negative/slide options.

To scan negatives you have to

     To scan slides, select Scan positives, including 35 mm slides, using the TMA. To scan negatives, select Scan negatives using the Transparent Materials Adapter (TMA).

Actually I used the tutorial, thanks, but as I wrote, there's no ability to select negatives (or positives (slides)).  Scanner does just dandy with prints...
