Install the HP Smart App

  • Download the HP Smart app from the App Store or HP Smart
  • This app is essential for scanning and managing your printer from iOS.

Connect Your Printer

  • Ensure your iPhone/iPad and HP 8015e printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Open the HP Smart app and tap “Add Printer” if it’s not already listed.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Start Scanning

  • In the HP Smart app, tap the “Scan” tile.
  • Choose “Scanner” if you're scanning from the printer’s flatbed or ADF.
  • Adjust scan settings (e.g., resolution, color, file type) as needed.
  • Tap “Scan”, then preview and save/share the scanned document.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Make sure the printer is powered on and connected to Wi-Fi.
  • Restart both your printer and iOS device.
