Product: HP Laser Jet Professional M1212 nf MFP
Operating System: macOS 11.0 Big Sur

It seems HP Laser Jet Professional M1212 nf MFP lacks a compatiable print driver for the Mac OS Big Sur 11.0.  Printer cannot scan to the Mac just feet away.  I believe the problem began when Mac went to an O/S of Catalina.  

 

What can be done to allow the scanning to work?

Hi, there is 2 solution for fixing this issue. Because recently I face the same issue with mac which we use for the business activities of most expensive welding helmet. As the printer driver for mac is difficult to find although its available. So either search it proper or you will find it from the official website of laser ject pro. Or you could use a wireless wifi driver which will help you to connect the printer on wific with your mac.
