(HP Officejet Pro 9010 Printer)

When I do a scan to a pc using the printer control panel, I obtain a jpg file, but I need a pdf one.

I can't find any menu both on the printer and on the HP Smart app to set up the pdf file format.

Thanks for answering me.

 

I've solved the issue installing a more complete version of HP software on the PCs of my net.

The link was given to me by HP customer care and is (Win 10 version): HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads

 

After installing it, on the HP printer control panel now I can choose to scan and send to a PC the pdf format of documents.

To be able to assist you better, I'd like to know the following-

  • How is the printer connected to the computer?
  • What is the Operating System installed on the computer?
