I have setup my printer fully through HP Smart with Wi-Fi and currently have it connected through it's USB connection.
I am able to print documents and everything else besides scanning documents to my computer.
For some reason it refuses to scan and says "Scanning is currently unavailable".
I've tried using Print and Scan Doctor but it redirects me to use the version of it built into HP Smart but that version reports that everything is okay.
I'm stumped on what to do.. Any suggestions? I really need to scan stuff for my work

Hi,
Thanks for using the HP Support Community.
Can you download and install the HP FULL Solution Software for your operating system:
HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads
Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.
These resources will be useful:
