Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 All-in-One Printer

I have an 8710 All in one and the scanner is not working.  I get an error code saying can't communicate with printer despite it being OK with printing. I have uninstalled HP Smart and reinstalled a couple times already.

How are you trying to scan? via iPhone, Android, Windows, or Mac?

Are you trying to scan to computer?
