I have recently bought a new Macbook Pro and migrated all the data, software, etc over from my old MacBook Air. All went successfully.
One problem I have just noticed I have, however, is with saving a scanned document to a file. The SAVE button is greyed out.
So, wirelessly, I can scan the document(s) - no problem. Only, I cannot save it. This applies to all formats - pdf, tiff, jpeg, etc.
This was never a problem on my MacBook Air.
Please let me know if you have experienced a similar problem and how I might go about resolving it.
Many thanks.

Had the same issue, whilst waiting for an update software from HP for OS Sierra, you can press print and then save as PDF. That worked for me until HP updates its software I guess.

Thanks for this. But I cannot find any faciility for saving as pdf (or any other format) after clicking Print. It merely starts to print the scanned document. Any further help/advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Did a bit more digging online, apparently HP Scan does not work with Sierra. Another user flagged this.

Download this and you should be sorted.
