I'm trying to scan documents that have both Legal and Letter size. But I don't see an "Auto" choice. It's either the "Entire scan", which when I choose this option, everything comes out legal size, or the "letter size", which doesn't help for my legal size docs.

Is there an update I can install? Or how can I fix this issue?

Thank you!

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

Can you try this, it has the "Auto Detect Size" under the "Page Size"

HP Scan Extended

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"

For more scanning tips, click here.

For scanning to PDF (with small filesize etc), check out this post.

Hope that helps!
