Using Windows 10, version 20H2, HP laptop 64bit, HP Desk Jet 2132 printer. Getting error code: 0x80073CFB each time I try to download the HP app. I need that app to scan items with the printer. The HP app download tells me that I "already own HP App" but I can't find it in my apps or within the computer and may have deleted it before realizing what it is used for.
Thanks for any help, Jim

Please make sure your Windows is up to date:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/update-windows-10-3c5ae7fc-9fb6-9af1-1984-b5e0412c556a
Be aware that the HP app is supported on Windows 10 Version 1803 or later, any earlier version may cause a such.

I am also on windows 10 version 20H2. Fully updated. Download of HP App fails with Code: 0x80073CFB every time.
Is there no other site where I can download from?

That link is both very confusing and not possible for me. The instructions are completely different from the all black image next to the instructions so I am not able to figure out how to use such an instruction.

I ended up resetting my router and my laptop, which fixed the problem. Messing around with online fixes just caused me problems with my computer, so I had to reset it. You can do this and keep your files as a last resort.

I'm also having the same problem. Considering how new this thread is, it must be a recent issue with HP or the microsoft store messing something up. I also have an HP laptop and I can install other apps on the microsoft store just fine as well as updating, so If I had to guess HP probably dropped the ball on this one. This waiting for a fix.
