screenshot 1.jpgscreenshot 2.jpgFor few days I cannot see scan preview or save it after scanning. I have HP Laserjet M28w. Everythingg worked fine before. Copying on printer works, but scanning doesn't, it doesn't show preview page and it cannot be saved. I installed HP software once again, and it is all the same, it doesn't work. Drivers are up to date

I am using Windows X

I scanned one page and saved it and cannot save anymore scans.  I've rebooted my computer as well as the M28.

I have exactly the same problem.

@HP: Is this problem linked to the OCR licensing issue?

A while ago the Scan as Editable Text (OCR) was disabled when downloading and installing the software package because of this. And only an odd workaround was offered.

I rebooted for few times, and it didn't help.

I later managed to scan with Windows Fax and Scan with some minor issues, but it is probably HP scan software issue

Thank you, J_maj.

I ended up loading the Windows Scan app and while it is very basic, it does the job.  The number of posts on this topic is overwhelming.
