Product: Officejet 8600 Plus
Operating System: macOS 10.14 Mojave

When I scan a document using my HP Officejet 8600 Plus, the scan will show up on my MacBook Pro screen.  The program will allow me to edit the scan, but when I go to save it to my computer the "save" button is grayed out.  

 

I've gone as far as trying to uninstall my HP stuff and reinstalling the drivers/software and there was an error there too - however even though it didn't install properly I can still do the scan from my computer just still can't save it.

 

Help!

The program I have used for the last 4 years is just called "HP Scan".  I can look to see if I can find "HP Easy Scan" and go from there.

HP Easy Scan is an Updated application from HP used to scan and is User-friendly. Kindly use the same and let me know how it goes.
