After scanning to computer, I click the save button with one of two outcomes. Sometimes nothing happens at all. Other times the computer stops responding.

Thanks, Dragon-Fur. Didn't solve the problem. Still can't save my scans to my computer. I notice that after the scan the message on the D410's display says that the scan was successfully saved. If this is true that might be of some use but I dont know where to find it. Any thoughts?

THis worked for me:
- Select Start > Settings .
- Choose Update & security > Windows Defender.
- Select Open Windows Defender Security Center.
- Select Virus & threat protection, and then choose Virus & threat protection settings.
- Under Controlled folder access, turn it on or off.
