Cannot save scanned image to folder location when DPI is 600 or 1200

Hello,

When I scan a foto using 600 or 1200 dpi I get this message in danish "Programmet HP Scan kunne ikke gemme filen på den angivne placering". The english translation is "The HP Scan program cannot store the file in the specified location".

The same operation is working fine using 200 or 300 dpi.

The steps to reproduce is as follows( translated from Danish :-))

*  Start HP SCan

*  Select Save as JPEG

* press more

* In Scan: select Foto, find foto's, same as input

* In Picture: Select 600 dpi, 24 bit RGB, standard

* Press Scan

* press save - This results in a new scanning with the selected resolution

When the scanning is complete I get the above mentioned error message.

My Pc is re-installed 3 month ago. 

I have re-installed the HP drivers today.

I am using wireless interface. No USB cable connected.

Looking forward to receive some magical words to cure this issue.

Huuummm, not sure.  But try this...

Scanning issues…

Please try this scan solution:

HP Scan Extended

For Windows:   ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Once downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"

Check all your settings and expand all tabs and all + signs to see all options that available.
