Recently installed this printer to a new computer and I am not able to scan to my computer like before.  Error message says it was disabled.

I do not see where you mentioned your Printer Model and Operating System/version.

If you did, I may have missed it, or your message failed to include that information.

 

-- Based on what we know --

 

There are two likely possible scenarios:

 

EWS - Web Scan - the feature must be enabled at first time use.

The Version of EWS is Printer Model dependent --

Please provide Printer Model if you need help.

 

OR 

-- Full Driver Printer Software --

  1. The software must be installed
  2. The Assistant Shortcut icon on the Desktop -- either Printer Assistant or Scan Assistant -- is used to enable the "Manage Scan to Computer" feature.
