I have three PCs, all running Windows 10 64 bit. I have a HP 277dw with a static IP address. All PCs and the HP are hardwired to the same network.
I cannot scan to a network folder on one of the PCs. I can scan to the network folders on the other two PCs.
I have tried various troubleshooting solutions I've found on the web over the past year or so, but so far, nothing works.
Thank you.

Hi,
Please ensure that SMBv1 is enabled for your computer, the printer requires SMBv1 to be enabled to connect to a shared folder.
From the Control Panel select Uninstall a Program, then press on Turn Windows features on or off and check SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support among any of its sub-options, then follow the steps on screen to enable the feature and test the profile for the printer again.
Additionally, what exact error do you get while testing the shared folder configuration?
Do you have an Administrator Password for the user on these computers? the printer can only connect with a password-protected user.
Click the Yes button to reply that the response was helpful or to say thanks.

Hi Shlomi,
Thank you for your reply. I had a long reply with a lot of information about what I had done, and solutions I had tried. In working through it again this morning, I focused on your question about what the error message was. I actually have been receiving two different error messages, one just being the test was unsuccessful, the other being the path could not be found. This morning, I even had the test work successfully but actual scanning failed, indicating "cannot write to \\ED-PC4\i\scans. Destination folder is read-only, has the wrong permissions or is no longer available."
I went through and redid all the permissions on the folder, unchecking and checking, and now it works. I wish they wouldn't call it computer science.
Thank you for your help.
