I can no longer scan using the HP Smart app on Mac desktop to scan from my Envy Pro 6400 over wifi.
HP Smart is the latest version, 13.2.1. My printer is shown as connected and Instant Ink is enabled.
I click Scan, and it asks me to Sign In to my account. It then displays "Loading HP account" but at that point it hangs, with a spinning blue circle.
I've tried restarting the computer etc.
I'd like to stress that this always used to work. It has only just stopped working.
Any suggestions please?

@south_sky, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I see that you are not able to scan using the HP Smart app on the Mac. Yes, you have the latest version of the app. No need to update as of now.
As the app hangs, have you tried reinstalling it from the App Store?
Are you able to print via the app?
Update the printer firmware
Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your Mac.
Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.
Also, check for any software updates on Mac
Click the Apple icon > About This Mac > Software Update and install any available update.
Meanwhile, you may use the HP Easy Scan app or Apple Image capture to scan from the Mac
For more info on scanning, refer to - How to scan with an HP printer
Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
