Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

I cannot scan to my computer so that i have a digital record, I can directly print a copy of what i'm trying to scan. I get the  message of failed to overview scan. Previously, i have had no problems. But now it appears that i cannot adjust the box that i normally choose for the area to scan as well. It's still under warranty, but it's probably a software glitch. Virtual assist is a waste of time.
