A recently printed some photos to 4x6 photo paper and must have some how changed the setting because each time I now Print or Copy it only prints even A4 copies to the 4x6 size on the loaded A4 paper.

I have tried to change the setting on the touchscreen where it displays the 4x6 Paper Size and Type but does not allow me an option to change the paper size. It only says "Make sure the paper you want to use is loaded in tray"

Any suggestions on how I can get this back to regular A4 printing would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

Spoiler
I have tried to change the setting on the touchscreen where it displays the 4x6 Paper Size and Type but does not allow me an option to change the paper size. It only says "Make sure the paper you want to use is loaded in tray"

Can you try to change the Paper type to "PLain"  (under Tray and paper Settings > Paper settings > Tray 1)

Hope that helps!

Where exactly do i do this from? It does not appear in Settings from the home touch screen nor when I try it from a copy request.

Hi,

It's under "Settings" > Tray and Paper management > Paper Settings > Tray 1 > Paper size

Hope that helps!

Hi,

I would also suggest chanigng the size for the printer itself:

Open and close the fron input tray, the printer screen shows the current paper size and type.

If the sown size is different press the Change / Modify button and sellect the correct size and type.

I have done all of this and CANNOT get the prnter to stop printing 4x6.

I have restarted file on another google doc says it is a Letter size.

Changed it multiple times on printer to letter size.

Rebooted.
