Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 8740 All-in-One Printer

I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 8740 that I configured to use scan to email via SMTP to the Google email service (prefixing mail with a g in this forum results in a **bleep**) years ago.

Recently, Google announced that they will stop supporting SMTP authentication via a username and password, and they will begin requiring OAuth or OAuth2 authentication instead.

Is this device capable of supporting the newer OAuth-based authentication protocols?

Should I plan to replace the device with a newer one that does? If so, recommendations?
