I'm trying to set up a feature on my desk jet pro scanner/fax/printer/copier to scan to a network instead of to a computer.  Going online through the IP address browser window, it tells me to click on the systems tab.  I do not see a systems tab.  Can someone help?

Are you perhaps mixing printer models and features on those printers??

 

DeskJet Printer(s)

The Embedded Web Server (EWS) for any DeskJet (or other Ink Jet) printer is not likely to have a System tab --

The EWS System tab is more likely something you'd find in the EWS for a Laser Printer.

 

Regardless,

DeskJet printers do not support Scan to Network.

 

What?

 

Scan to Network is -- like Scan to Email SMTP Profile setup -- a feature supported on (at least some of) the OfficeJet Pro printers -- primarily those in the "more expensive" range.
