Is there a way to see a copy counter? when I make 75 copies for example, I would like to see a countdown of how many copies have been made and how many copies are remaining until the job is finish. Like, 75,74,73,72,71,70, and so on. Is there a setting to see this on the printer's display?

Hi @donb2023,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 3301sdw does not display a live copy countdown on its screen by default. However, you may be able to monitor your print or copy jobs via the printer software or HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
Here are some steps you can try to monitor the copy count.
Printer Control Panel: When initiating a large copy job, the control panel may show basic progress information. However, it might not provide a detailed countdown like 75, 74, 73, etc. This feature can depend on the firmware version or specific settings, so ensure your printer's firmware is up to date.
HP Smart App (or HP Print and Scan Doctor):
- Download and install the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
- Use it to monitor the status of ongoing copy or print jobs.
- The app sometimes provides more detailed job progress and information, which may include a remaining copy count.
HP Embedded Web Server (EWS):
- Access the printer’s Embedded Web Server (EWS) by typing its IP address into your web browser.
- From the Jobs or Status tab, you might see job details, though live countdown functionality is not always present.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
