I have a new HP9730e printer which I purchased specifically to copy 9 inch by 12 inch sheet music onto 9 inch by 12 inch paper. That is the standard size for sheet music in the US. Although the HP printer lists many different paper sizes in its menus, it does not include 9 by 12. (BTW I use MacOS Sequoia 15, but HP doesn't list that option; it's probably not relevant to the copying.
I have managed to fool the printer somewhat so that I can print onto that size paper from tray #2. However the image is cut off at 11 inch length, because the printer apparently thinks that I am printing onto standard letter size paper, regardless of the size of the original image that I specify on the LCD screen.
I do have a workaround by scanning the music, which does capture the whole image, but that's very cumbersome, particularly since the document feeder won't accept 9" wide paper.
There must be a better work-around. Can anyone help please?

Do you have the paper size settings on the tray set to a custom size of 9x12? Is one of the original copy size options "any size"? Barring that you are probably stuck with scanning and then printing.
