Note: From May 1, 2024, the HP Scan and Capture app will no longer be available (retired) in the Microsoft Store and HP will not release any further app updates. Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This was episodic but now this happens ONLY if I try to scan something and EVERY TIME I try to scan something.  Printing with HP Smart is fine.   Scanning shuts down my computer every time with DPC Watchdog violation code.  I have run the HP diagnostic printer and scanner tool several times.  Any Ideas? HP148 injet printer.
