Using HP Smart on IPhone, I scanned multiple documents. When saving prompt asked which quality/size file I wanted. I chose the highest. Now I am unable to upload to a website. I can not find HOW DO I MAKE FILE SMALLER?! Please help I don’t want to rescan 30 documents.

Welcome to the HP Community Forum.
True - one side effect of a higher DPI / resolution scan setting is a larger file size.
Use an app to reduce the size of the sized PDF file.
For example...

Thank you so much @Dragon-Fur. I was thrilled as I read your comment!
first, the file is actually tax documents to upload to a website. And I’m somewhat nervous having in my phone, so I’m not sure I want to use another app.
I did as you mentioned in adobe but unfortunately it says I have to subscribe to be able to edit. 😞 don’t want to get stuck paying $70 for app I rarely ever use.
Yesterday I do some “compressing” of file with a some “shortcut” but every time I did it still showed the same size file, but changed the name of file with 1, 2 etc showing it did recreate a file.
I can’t believe this is so difficult to do. I had hoped maybe I could edit it on HO SMART, go to save and it would ask me again what size I would like to save it. 😞 nope.
I appreciate any more suggestions you may have
thank you

You are welcome.
I was not aware that Adobe Acrobat Reader for iOS is no longer free and / or it won't do the job.
Disappointing.
