Delete PIN code for Scan to email

I configured the 477dw in the network and then create the list of users that allows then Scan to Email; I did not enter the 4 digits PIN code, but the printer is now enforcing one. I know the way to reset it an request a new one, but indeed, users do not want to have this PIN code, as we never used it, and other 477dw we configured recently does not require the PIN.

Any way I can remove the PIN or recreate the user witjput this PIN, as in the other similar printers?

Hi I would like to assist to the best of my ability to solve your problem.I hope the information i supply will be of help.Just for information some technical information is protected by HP and is not allowed to be answered.This is unfortunate and you will have to contact a HP repair shop for the help in this case.I think you have a option selected for security pin.Try to disable that in the settings might help solve the problem.I have not worked on that machine so are not sure where to look for these settings but might help.
